South Bay Mommy and Me has a simple mission: to bring together like-minded mothers who are seeking a village to raise their babies. Together we gather. We bond. We grow.
We are mothers supporting other mothers. We are child development experts. We are specialists in encouraging the child-mother attachment bond. We are unlike any other mommy and me program in Los Angeles’ famed South Bay.
We are a well researched, highly informed, premium program that seeks to have a profound influence on your life. We are loving and compassionate healers seeking to make a difference in our community. We are filled with gratitude to help you find your inner mama.
Mariko Fairly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a mom of a 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. Mariko earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Cal State Northridge, and has been working with children and families for almost 20 years. In her consultation practice, Parenting Fairly, Mariko works with families to promote positive parent-child interactions and address challenges that arise in daily life: tantrums, hitting/biting, sleep issues, toilet training, picky eating, adjusting to a new sibling, and teaching communication and self-care skills.
Mariko feels passionate about supporting parents to come up with effective and easy-to-implement strategies that will work for their children and parenting style. She understands that each family has its own unique goals and limitations and will make recommendations that work for each family. Mariko’s goal is to give parents the tools to respond to their children with calm and confidence, creating a positive relationship so that both parents and kids can thrive!
